英国自40年代末期开始在锻造工业中采用电加热。它最适于在压机和自动锻造机即那些生产量大,使用周期长的设备上生产的锻件。据估计,目前这些锻件的85％是用电加热的。
Britain has been using electric heating in the forging industry since the late 1940s. It is best suited for forgings that are produced on press and auto-forging machines, those that produce large quantities and long service life. It is estimated that 85% of the current forgings are electrically heated.
