Navy ships include a set of platforms, each of which is necessary throughout the operation. This requires extensive communication within each platform and between platforms. In the large-scale development of satellite systems, long-range low-frequency systems and guaranteed data links, communication between platforms has been emphasized. It is particularly regrettable for engineers to consider the issue of communication within the platform as a whole system, as the addition of new and advanced technologies to weapons, navigation and other naval ships greatly increases the communication requirements within the platform. Thus, there are many economic and technical problems that can occur on today’s ships using the conventional interconnection method of point-to-point wiring.
