地方病科技人员为探索病因、寻求发病机理、选择最佳治疗方案等,常年出没在经济不发达的荒漠草原、高寒山区,在艰苦的环境里从事辛勤的防治研究工作。可见地方病科技工作较之其他工作更具有探索性、复杂性、艰巨性的特点,进而形成了地方病科技人员有别于其他职业人员的心理特征,针对他们的心理持征,改进领导方法,有的放矢地加以正确疏导是完全必要的。
