林业是国民经济不可分割的一部分。要把国民经济搞上去,要在本世纪末把我国建成现代化的社会主义强国,林业生产就必须相应地大发展。而林木害虫是发展林业的大敌,我省的林木害虫主要的有四十多种,使林业生产受到很大损失。因此,重视和加强森林虫害的防治工作,是林业生产上重要的任务之一。要搞好虫害的防治工作,首先必须对害虫的一般知识,发生发展的一般规律及一般的防治原理有所了解。
Forestry is an integral part of the national economy. If we want to make the national economy a success and build our country into a modern, powerful socialist country by the end of this century, forestry production must be greatly expanded. The forest pests are the enemy of the development of forestry, forest pests in our province there are more than 40 kinds, so that forestry production suffered great losses. Therefore, attaching importance to and strengthening the prevention and control of forest pests and diseases is one of the important tasks in forestry production.
