周有光先生在香港语文学界享有盛名,是我们心目中的导师和旗帜。周老为香港语文现代化的建设、共同语普通话的推广所做的无偿奉献有目共睹。而引领我们推广拼音文化的教育则是其中的一个侧面。2015年1月,“周有光与中国语文现代化”学术研讨会在中山大学新华学院举行。会后,出席会议的香港中国语文学会理事会主席、《语文建设通讯》主编姚德怀先生提议在香港也开个座谈会,来纪念周有光先生对香港语文建设的引领与贡献。他的提议我举
Mr. Zhou Youguang enjoys a good reputation in Hong Kong literature and is our mentor and banner. Zhou Lao’s contributions to the modernization of Chinese in Hong Kong and the promotion of common Putonghua are obvious to all. The one that leads us to promote Pinyin culture education is one aspect. In January 2015, “Zhou Youguang and Modernization of Chinese Language” was held at Xinhua College of Sun Yat-sen University. After the meeting, Mr. Yao Dehuai, chairman of the Council of Chinese Language Societies of Hong Kong attending the meeting, and editor-in-chief of the “Language Construction Communication” proposed to hold a symposium in Hong Kong to commemorate Mr. Zhou Youguang’s leadership and contribution to the language construction in Hong Kong.
