故宫被绑上了脚手架2005年8月的一天,故宫博物院古建部的赵鹏、卓媛媛骑上了故宫东华门屋脊的吻兽。这是故宫东华门的最高处,黄绿杂色的琉璃吻兽高高翘起尾部,俯身张着巨大的嘴将屋脊紧紧“吻”住。卓媛媛骑在它的身上,赵鹏协助丈量它的尺度,查看它的健康状况。没有人可以随便骑在它的身上。这座威严高耸的面向东方开设的大门,一向是帝国的皇帝和帝后出入的门,除了帝王,人臣们只有高级文官可以出入。在王朝消弥之后,这座门从来没有向公众开放过,巨大门洞旁设立的小屋子里总有警惕的眼睛盘查一切出入这里的人。
