笔者以问卷形式,调查分析了蒙古族学生学习英语过程中元认知策略的使用情况,以及这些元认知策略与其学习成绩的相关性,结果表明,蒙古族学生大都能使用一些元认知策略,但使用频率不高,元认知策略与学生的英语学习成绩有着较强的相关性,并在很大程度上决定着学生英语水平的高低。文末提出了教学启示,即教师应强化学生策略意识,培养学生自觉使用学习策略的能力,从而提高蒙族学生的英语学习效率。
The author investigates and analyzes Mongolian students’ use of metacognitive strategies in learning English and the correlation between these metacognitive strategies and their academic achievements in the form of questionnaires. The results show that most Mongolian students can use some metacognitive strategies , But the frequency of use is not high, metacognitive strategies and students ’English learning performance has a strong correlation, and to a large extent determines the level of students’ English. At the end of the article, we put forward the teaching enlightenment that teachers should strengthen students ’strategic awareness and cultivate students’ ability to consciously use learning strategies so as to improve the efficiency of Mongolian students in their English learning.
