生野矿位于日本兵库县来郡生野镇。生野矿的矿床早在公元807年即被发现,矿山开采历史悠久,第二次世界大战时出矿量最高达37000吨/月。战后生产规模减少,于1973年因矿量枯竭及深部地压问题而闭坑。该矿的开采范围东西约4公里。南北约3公里,开采深度约达1000米。开采的矿体有60余个,有用矿物有黄铜矿、闪锌矿等70种。
