王永民,中国电脑领域的一个最广为人知的科学家。他历经十几年的时间,发明并推广了“五笔字型”,被人们誉为“当代毕升”、“五笔之父”。他发明的“五笔字型汉字输入法”为汉字的应用开拓了一个新时代,2000年,他又推出了“五笔数码输入法”,被中国发明者协会誉为“汉字输入技术的第二次革命”,为汉字输入技术树起了一座金光闪闪的丰碑。作为一个科学家,王永民不仅善于发明、善于创造,还善于教育,尤其是在家庭教育方面有他的独到之处。
Wang Yongmin, one of the most widely known scientists in China’s computer field. After more than a decade, he invented and popularized the “five-stroke type” and was praised as “the contemporary bi-liter” and “the father of the five-stroke”. He invented the “Wubi type Chinese character input method” for the application of Chinese characters to open up a new era, in 2000, he introduced “Wubi digital input method” by the Chinese inventors Association as “the second Chinese input technology Revolution ”, a golden monument for Chinese input technology. As a scientist, Wang Yongmin not only good at invention, good at creating, but also good at education, especially in family education has his uniqueness.
