Mathematical modeling is a pure branch of applied mathematics. It is not designed to learn new mathematical knowledge. Instead, it tries to use existing mathematical knowledge, mathematical thinking and mathematical methods to solve practical problems completely derived from the real world. Mathematical modeling is a bridge connecting the use of mathematical knowledge and mathematics to study and learn mathematical models that can help students explore the application of mathematics, generate interest in mathematics learning, and foster student innovation
