全球信息化的推进,已经引起了人们生活习惯、工作方式、价值观念,以及思维方式等诸多方面的深刻变革,更为重要的是,信息已成为发展社会生产力和提高人民生活质量的重要资源。今天,来自不同国家和地区的包装业界同仁们,聚在这里召开首届国际包装信息大会,是一件很有意义的事情。面对信息革命的挑战,包装业界应该早日进入角色。因此,如何加速包装业信息化发展的进程,应是我们进入21世纪前一个最重要的课题之一。
The advancement of global informatization has caused profound changes in people’s living habits, work methods, values, and modes of thinking. More importantly, information has become an important resource for the development of social productivity and the improvement of people’s quality of life. Today, packaging industry colleagues from different countries and regions gathered here to hold the first International Packaging Information Conference. This is a very significant event. Faced with the challenges of the information revolution, the packaging industry should enter the role as soon as possible. Therefore, how to speed up the process of informationization in the packaging industry should be one of the most important topics before we enter the 21st century.
