梁山好汉的悲剧命运源于好汉自身,浓厚的报恩思想是导致其人生悲剧的致命原因。梁山好汉的报恩悲剧由个体报恩和群体报恩两个层面整合而成。个体报恩导致梁山好汉人格价值沦丧和奴性人格回归;群体报恩助长了朝廷玩弄权术陷害忠良的嚣张气焰,导致梁山事业功败垂成。封建传统文化和小生产意识是产生报恩思想的思想根源,金钱的诱惑力量和对官吏的善良幻想是产生报恩思想的经济根源,缺少必要的人文关怀和公平的竞争激励机制是产生报恩思想的制度根源。梁山好汉的报恩悲剧既是报恩者的悲剧,也是施恩者的悲剧。
