在中国当代新闻界,范敬宜不仅是声誉卓著的新闻工作者,而且也是卓有建树的新闻教育家。早在上世纪八九十年代,担任中国社会科学院研究生院新闻系教授、中国人民大学与武汉大学新闻学院兼职教授期间,他就涉足新闻教育,并培养了出类拔萃的新闻人才。2002年4月,出任清华大学新闻与传播学院首任院长以来,他更在新闻教育领域孜孜矻矻,用心耕耘,开辟了一片新天地,造就了一批风华正茂的新闻后备军。
In the contemporary Chinese press, Fan is not only a reputable journalist but also a well-established journalist. As early as the 1980s and the 1990s, as a professor of journalism at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and a part-time professor at the Renmin University of China and the School of Journalism at Wuhan University, he engaged in journalism education and trained outstanding journalists. Since April 2002, as the first dean of the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University, he has devoted himself in the field of journalism and education, opened up a new world and created a number of vigilant news reserve forces.
