今年5月以来,中国天气复杂,广东、广西、福建、湖南、江西、浙江等省区先后发生洪涝、滑坡及泥石流等灾害。特别是随着第4号强热带风暴“碧利斯”而来的大范围暴雨,给一些地区造成严重灾害。据国家减灾委员会办公室截至7月24日16时统计,今年第4号强热带风暴“碧利斯”引发的浙江、福建、江西、湖南、广东、广西6省区洪涝灾害,已造成死亡612人,失踪208人,紧急转移安置306.8万人。7月22日,温家宝总理来到受灾最严重的湖南考察抗洪救灾工作,对当前救灾、灾后重建及下一步防灾工作提出明确要求。目前,全国防汛抗洪已到紧要关头,各地、各部委也都发出紧急通知,要求全力做好防大汛、抗大洪、救大灾的准备。
