学过历史的都会知道这个地名——会宁。它是20世纪30年代红军长征后会师的地方,是甘肃省中部的一个面积近6500平方公里的大县。会宁是一个远近闻名的国家级贫困县,十年九旱,严重缺水,资源匮乏,自然条件极差,有些地方甚至被认为是人类不适宜居住的地方。就是这样一个县,却是一个全国闻名的“高考状元县”。2004年的全国“两会”上,就连温家宝总理都对甘肃代表团的会宁代表说:“你们会宁是状元县,我的秘书也是会宁人。”
