近年来,学院视觉传达系学生的作品,在全国性设计刊物上发表,如中国大陆创办最早、定期出版的设计典籍《中国设计年鉴》、中国创办最早且延续时间最长的专业设计刊物《包装与设计》:在全国性展事赛事上入选、获奖,如《包装与设计》杂志创办的国内最早、院校参与率最高,涵盖两岸四地的全国性学生赛事“新星杯全国学生设计大奖赛”,中国美院创办的影响广泛的全国性年度定期赛事“白金创意全国大学生设计比赛”,同济大学艺术设计研究中心创办的影响广泛的全国性年度定期赛事“全国大学生设计比赛靳埭强基金奖”。作品包括平面广告、招贴画、包装、标志、装帧设计、展示设计、插画、创意图形及广告摄影、数码艺术等多种门类。
