仙客来种子为不定形 ,属双子叶有胚乳类型。种皮较薄 ,仅由内外两层细胞组成 ;胚乳发达 ,细胞壁厚并具发达的胞间连丝 ;胚小 ,直立型 ,一枚子叶发育 ,另一枚退化 ,为双子叶植物。种子具特殊的萌发过程 ,发育的一枚子叶因叶柄伸长而出土 ,属吸收兼同化型 ;胚轴不伸长 ,下胚轴膨大形成块茎。主根不发达 ,于块茎下端产生不定根形成须根系 ;胚芽生长缓慢 ,形成缩短的主茎 ,随着植物发育在主茎附近产生多个不定芽。
Cyclamen seeds are amorphous, is a dicotyledonous endosperm type. The seed coat is thin and consists of two layers of cells inside and outside. The endosperm is well developed and the cell wall is thick and well developed. The embryo is small and erect. One cotyledon develops and the other degenerates. It is a dicotyledon. Seed with a special germination process, the development of a cotyledon petiole elongation due to the absorption and assimilation; hypocotyl elongation, hypocotyl inflated tubers. The main root is underdeveloped, adventitious roots are formed at the lower end of the tubers to form fibrous roots; the germs grow slowly, forming shortened main stems, and multiple adventitious buds are generated near the main stems as the plants develop.
