无锡市住房保障中心紧紧围绕加快保障性安居工程建设和加大力度实施低收入住房困难家庭的住房保障这一中心工作,以省市文明委创建文明行业、文明单位有关精神为指导,以保障百姓住有安居、共创和谐社会为目标,加强组织领导、扎实有效推进,把保障与服务有机结合,把文明创建工作与中心工作有机结合,大力促进单位的全面建设。一、围绕住房保障创佳绩一是全力以赴加速推进工程建设进程。中心始终把保障性安居工程建设作为重点工作,突出抓好“进度、质量、成本、安全、文明”的五大控制,工程建设成效显著。自中心成立以来,中心开工建设保障性住房466万m~2,竣工交付使用面积330万m~2,其中在瑞星家园二期和惠景家园保障性住房小区配建的廉租住房创造了当年开工、当年竣工、当年交付的建设新速度。南湖家园、瑞星家园等项目中部分标段荣获扬子杯、太湖杯优质工程荣誉称
