丁健先生现任美国亚信公司首席执行官兼总裁、亚信科技(中国)有限公司首席执行官兼总裁、公司董事。1994年,丁健和其重要的商业合作伙伴田溯宁先生在美国德州共同创建美国亚信公司(AsiaInfo Holdings,Inc.)。1995年初,亚信的3位主创人员回国,成立亚信科技(中国)有限公司,第一次把Internet带回中国。 丁健先生在亚信公司曾先后担任过高级副总裁兼首席技术官、业务发展副总裁等职,自1999年5月担任公司首席执行官至今。2000年3月3日,丁健先生成功领导亚信公司在美国纳斯达克上市,成为纳市当天最成功新股,并创Nasdaq亚洲股票单日最高涨幅。2000年10月,亚信入选《福布斯》杂志评选的“全球最优秀的300家小型企业”,2001年12月,又被《财富》评为欧洲和亚洲最具潜力的10支热门股之一。 丁健先生于1986年毕业于北京大学化学系,获理学学士学位。之后于1990年在美国加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校就读信息科学专业,获得硕士学位;同时,他还拥有加利福尼亚Hass商学院的EMBA学位。
Mr. Ding Jian is currently the CEO and President of AsiaInfo Corporation, the CEO and President of AsiaInfo Technology (China) Co., Ltd., and the company’s director. In 1994, Ding Jian and his important business partner, Mr. Tian Suning, jointly founded AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. in Texas, USA. In early 1995, AsiaInfo’s three founding members returned to China to establish AsiaInfo Technology (China) Co., Ltd., which brought the Internet back to China for the first time. Mr. Ding Jian has served as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer, and Vice President of Business Development at Asiatrust Corporation. He has served as CEO of the company since May 1999. On March 3, 2000, Mr. Ding Jian successfully led AsiaInfo to list on Nasdaq in the United States, becoming the most successful new stock on that day and the highest single-day gain for Nasdaq Asia. In October 2000, AsiaInfo was selected as one of the “300 Best Small Businesses in the World” by Forbes magazine. In December 2001, it was named one of the 10 most popular stocks in Europe and Asia by Fortune. Mr. Ding graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Peking University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree. After that, he studied information science at the University of California Los Angeles in 1990 and obtained a master’s degree. At the same time, he also holds an EMBA degree from California’s Hass Business School.
