William Shakespeare (1564-1616) is the most respectful and remarkable writer in British literary history.Among his works,the dramas carned him the best reputation and especially the 4 well-known tragedies enjoyed great popularity.Among the 4 tragedies,Macbeth was written later than the other 3 but it is the most unique in aspect of ideological content and the artistic form.
