南开区位于天津市区的西南部,面积40多平方公里,常住人口70多万,居民20多万户。随着天津信息化工作的发展,南开区开始步入信息化建设的行列。1998年6月,天津市计划委员会和天津市信息化工作领导小组办公室联合下发了津计长期(1998)354号文件,将南开区列入天津信息化工程示范区先行建设。同年7月,南开区示范区的建设工作正式启动。 目前,南开区多媒体综合信息网的建设已初具规模。整个网络建设采用同缆异芯的方式,以光缆网和光电混合网(HFC)覆盖全区各角落。其中以光缆联接交换设备的数据网络架构为三层,上层设在网管中心,
Nankai District is located in the southwest of Tianjin City, covering an area of over 40 square kilometers with a resident population of over 700,000 and a resident population of more than 200,000.
