高等艺术设计教育要顺应时代发展,突出专业特色,着重培养学生的创新思维能力、视觉感受力及表现应用能力。在教学中强调设计文化的重要性,挖掘传统优秀民族文化资源,密切关注国际国内最新设计动态,把握服装设计发展趋势,流行风向,树立为市场服务、为企业服务的意识,明确培养方向,制定学习目标,激发学习热情,加强实践练习,不断提高动手能力。借鉴时装业发达国家的服装设计教育模式,有利于我国高等艺术设计教育的改革与发展。
