礼乐的建立标志着人类由野蛮时代进入文明时代。在农耕时代,中国民间传统的礼乐文化,通过全民性的庙会、堂会而呈现,戏曲演出是其重要的组成部分。在传统的基础上建立适应时代发展的新的礼乐文明,是传承、保护、发展、繁荣我国传统戏剧的有效途径。一、礼乐文化的形成中国是一个具有悠久礼乐文化的国家,从夏代到周代逐步建立起一套完备的礼乐制度,并随着时代的发展而变化。古籍中多有与礼乐文化相关的记载。《尚书·尧典》中有:“帝曰:
