Soil classification in China has been a pending case. There are many reasons why this problem has never been solved before. First of all, because of the short history of soil science in China, it is indeed difficult to solve a major issue within a relatively short period of time. Second, the power is still weak. I think the biggest reason is that the soil classification issue is still an unsolvable problem in the world. Therefore, there is not a good basis for solving the problem. We know that the Soviet Union, the birthplace of soil science, is not yet conclusive on this issue. If we look carefully, where are the crux of the problem? The main reason, we think, lies in the inconsistency of the taxonomic objects. We do not work hard in the same direction in all aspects, either domestic or overseas, and we can not benefit from each other. Therefore, the development of soil taxonomy Slower. So we think we must first clarify the understanding of the classification of the object, and then it is possible to solve the classification problem.
