著名图书馆学者周文骏先生认为,图书、情报、档案等都是以文献信息为基础而形成的产物,《文献交流学》就是这些工作共同的理论基础。黄宗忠先生认为,文献信息的本质是包含于文献之中的信息,一切以收集、加工、传递、利用为研究对象的学科都属于文献信息学范畴。图书馆和档案馆收藏的各类文献就都同属于文献信息学范畴。加强图书馆与档案馆的横向联系与协作,是二者共同发展的必然趋势。
Mr. Zhou Wenjun, a famous scholar of the library, believes that books, information and archives are the products formed on the basis of documentary information. “Literature exchange” is the common theoretical foundation of these works. Mr. Huang Zongzhong believes that the essence of documentary information is the information contained in the document, and all the subjects that are collected, processed, transmitted and utilized belong to the field of document informatics. Libraries and archives of all kinds of literature on the collection belong to the same category of information science. Strengthening the horizontal connection and cooperation between libraries and archives is an inevitable trend of common development between the two.
