On April 27, the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone was held. The free trade zone “Version 2.0” was officially launched. The three major areas of Lujiazui Financial Area, Jinqiao Development Area and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Area are formally included into the territory map of Shanghai Free Trade Area. Together with the already operated Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Waigaoqiao Bonded Logistics Park, Yangshan Bonded Port Area and Shanghai Pudong Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Shanghai Free Trade Zones area expanded from the original 28.78 square kilometers
