已有报导,Curcuma longa(Haldi.)挥发油对甲醛及角叉菜胶引起的大鼠后爪水肿有抑制作用,用棉球法及肉芽囊法试验,本植物的挥发油与其甾醇部份均有抗炎作用。本文按 Newbould 氏法(1963),以弗氏佐剂(Freund’s Adjuvent)引起大鼠关节灸法并按 Benzi 氏等法(1965)以滑石引起鸽腱-滑膜炎法,研究本挥发油对类风湿性关节炎后期炎症的作用和对急性关节炎所致机能失调的改善作用。
