A series of experimental facts show that there are monomer chain transfer reactions in some living polymerization systems. Kyner et al. First used the non-steady-state method to deal with this problem theoretically, and obtained the molecular weight distribution function of the active chains in the system. Later, Nanda went further to find out the molecular weight distribution function of the dead polymer formed by the monomer chain transfer. However, Nanda’s formula is too complicated, the author believes that when the degree of polymerization is large, it is not easy to use such a formula for numerical calculation. So they again use the “ideal statistical processing” method and steady-state method to derive the approximate solution of the molecular weight distribution function. Nanda and others have also put him
