插入语是英语口语中很常见的语法现象,它是中学英语语法的重点,也是高考的考点。它通常与句中其他部分没有语法上的联系,将它删掉之后,句子结构仍然完整。在近几年的高考试题中,插入语被越来越多地应用。由于插入语通常与句中其他成分没有语法上的关系,命题者有意在句中插入一个从句或插入语,造成主谓分离,给考生的理解带来一定的困难和干扰。看下面的例题:
Intercalary is a very common grammar phenomenon in spoken English, it is the focus of secondary school English grammar, but also the entrance examination. It usually has no grammatical connection with other parts of the sentence, and after it is deleted, the sentence structure is still intact. In recent years, college entrance examination questions, insert language is more and more used. Because the insert language usually has no grammatical relationship with other components in the sentence, the proponent intends to insert a clause or insert phrase in the sentence, resulting in the separation of the subject and the predicate, which brings some difficulties and disturbances to the examinee’s understanding.
