农资供应唱主角石河子市供销社成立于1985年2月,下属有棉麻公司、农资公司、回收公司、供贸公司等9个独立核算企业,拥有职工980名,担负着垦区18个农牧团场、1个乡250万亩耕地农业生产资料的供应工作,自成立以来,急农业所急,帮农业所需,使农资供应市场保持了较稳定的状态,充分发挥了主渠道作用。农资公司,努力克服农资供应中的各种困难,积极筹措资金,千方百计满足农场、农民需要,严禁假冒伪劣商品流入垦区。近7年,该供销社向农牧团场、石河子乡累计供应化肥499.791吨,农药4.267吨,地膜22332吨;并投资100多万元对农场农资储备库进行了改造和维修,为垦区农业生产的丰产丰收做出了贡献。棉花购销上台阶近10年来,供销社在信息、技术、科研、资金、物资上充分发挥自身优势,大力搞好棉花种植试验,依靠科技推广模式化生产,推广早、密、矮、膜、化控模式化栽培技术,使垦区棉花种植面积不断扩大,单产、品级不断提高。到1998年,该师棉花种植面积已达115万亩,产量达到13万余吨5年累计收购皮棉40万吨,1998年收购13.72万吨,是1994年的2.67倍。棉花是垦区的重要经济支柱,也为供销社整体经济效益的提高起到了重要作用。1994年棉麻公司荣列中国500家最
