我从塞北牡丹江市调到了坐落在川西平原腹地的山沟企业一四川锅炉厂宣传处。第一天上班报到时,我就看见办公室的墙壁上整齐地挂着各式各类的报刊、杂志,而《企业文明》(当时还是《机电兵器政工》)杂志一下子吸引了我并引起了我极大的兴趣和注意。心想,虽然这个厂远离都市,但这里的文化氛围比较浓,文化素养比较高。还有这份杂志,是我追随她而来使她继续帮助我、启迪我、给我教益和力量呢,这是她依伴我而来,使我尽管远离家乡却总能感受到一份亲切、温馨与关怀。
