以残雪和余华的学生为代表,新时期文坛陆续出现一些描述人的精神异化状态的作品。在这些作品中,主人公在精神恍惚中畏惧所有的人,害怕一切事物,作家由此而开启出形而上的生存之畏。人在这样的恍惚状态中尤显离奇怪诞。人性深层的某些精神光华却正是通过这不同寻常的怪诞面貌中折射出来。二者看似对立却互为一体,相互牵制着显现出人性深处的崇高与伟力。
