重要的流体动力学密封特性包括;(1)流体动力学密封能产生一种正向力以平衡泄漏流动力.(2)它们有密封高压的能力.(3)由于轴和壳体不接触因此它们有很长的寿命.(4)它们比接触密封消耗的功率少.(5)它们的成本低,容易制作同时在高速度密封场合下应用是理想的.流体动力学密封的基本限制是:(1)它们对速度敏感,除旋转轴之外不能用于其它密封.(2)它们是单向的同时对温度和粘度是敏感的.
Important hydrodynamic seal features include: (1) Hydrodynamic seals create a positive force to balance leakage flow. (2) They have the ability to seal high pressures. (3) Because the shaft does not come into contact with the housing They have a long lifespan. (4) They consume less power than contact seals. (5) They are low cost, easy to make and ideal for high speed sealing applications. The basic limitations of hydrodynamic seals are: (1) They are speed sensitive and can not be used for other seals except for the rotating shaft. (2) They are unidirectional while being temperature and viscosity sensitive.
