幼儿期是培养创造力的重要时期,幼儿的美术活动是把想象和创造联系在一起的,因此,利用美术活动可以充分开发和培养幼儿的创造力。教师在美术活动中,可以通过教会幼儿随机观察,在日常生活中启发幼儿进行联想,为幼儿创设好的环境和气氛,发挥幼儿的主动性,捕捉幼儿生活中的点滴,培养幼儿掌握创造性思维方式来培养幼儿的创造力。在开发幼儿创造力的过程中,教师必须有创新意识和能力,把技能技巧训练和培养幼儿的创造力结合起来,公正合理地评价每一幅幼儿作品,这样才能使幼儿得到最恰当的教育。
