碧玉映辉马蹄莲马蹄莲(Zantedeschia aethiopica),花,冰清玉洁,纯白无瑕;叶,油亮碧绿,挺秀雅致。花白,白得清静;叶绿,绿得深沉。碧玉映辉,相得益彰,招人喜爱,是吉祥和喜悦的象征。马蹄莲属天南星科,原产南非,为多年生宿根草花。性喜温暖阴湿环境,不耐寒,10℃以上方能生长良好。马蹄莲因叶形像芋头,故有水芋之称。又因她的花苞之形状如神话传说中观世音端坐的莲花宝座,故又称为观音莲。马蹄莲的佛焰苞形状的花朵,若将其倒置恰似一只马蹄,别有情趣,所以马蹄莲这个名字叫的最为响亮,也最为形象。(李久贡)
