水利工作通讯1955年第14期发表了许寿福同志“关于设计洪水来水过程线的几点建议”一文,该文分析了设计洪水来水过程线的三个因素之间的关系与拟定洪水过程线的一般方法的缺点,并提出了一些改进办法,使洪水过程线在峯、量和历时上,都符合于设计洪水各因素的设计指标。许同志的几点建议,对于如何寻求符合于规定概率的设计过程线的问题,具有一定的意义。但是,这些建议在实用上仍然受一定的限制。现就我个人的意见讨论如下。许同志为了使设计洪水过程线在洪峯、洪水总量和历时上,都符合于设计洪水各因素的设计指标起见,曾引用了下列公式(伸缩实测典型的历时的方法):

This paper analyzes the relationship between the three factors in designing process line of floodwater and drafting of flood process The shortcomings of the general method of the line, and some improvements to make the flood process line in the peak, volume and duration, are in line with design floods of various design factors. Some suggestions made by Comrade Xu have some significance on how to find a line that meets the design process of the prescribed probability. However, these proposals are still subject to certain restrictions in practice. Now my personal opinion is discussed below. Comrade Xu cited the following formula (typical duration measurement of telescopic measurements) in order to make the design flood process line meet the design specifications of various factors of design flood in flood peak, flood volume and duration.
