来自公安部的信息表明,2013年全国公安民警因公伤亡4675人,其中因公牺牲449人,比2012年上升4.4%。这意味着,每一天就有一名民警牺牲,每两个小时就有一名民警负伤。近5年,全国公安民警因公牺牲2167人,因公负伤17988人,平均每年400余名民警因公牺牲、3000余名民警因公负伤。
Information from the Ministry of Public Security shows that in 2013, there were 4675 public security and civilian casualties among the public security police in the country, 449 of them were sacrificed for public expense, an increase of 4.4% over 2012. This means that one civilian police officer is sacrificed every day and one civilian police officer is wounded every two hours. In the past five years, 2167 people have been sacrificed for public security throughout the country, 17,988 people have been wounded and injured, and more than 400 police officers have sacrificed their lives for public expense each year. More than 3,000 police officers have been wounded on the ground.
