一、EDI的含义 EDI(Electronic date interchange)是将商业或行政事务处理(Transaction)按照一个公认标准,形成结构化的事务处理或报文(Message)数据格式,从计算机到计算机的电子传输方法。 因此,EDI作为一种数据交换的手段,它具有三个关键性的要素。 1、EDI是计算机应用系统之间的数据传输 所谓计算机应用系统是指与EDI的数据通信系统相连接的电子数据处理系统(EDP,Electronic Data Processing)。包括管理信息系统、MRPII、ERP等系统中的数据处理功能。EDP的存在使计算机能够对所传输的信息进行自动识别和处理,而无需人工干预,从而既提高工作效率又减少人工干预可能造成的差错。
