《高中英语教学大纲》中明确指出:要使学生在学习过程中受到思想品德,爱国主义教育和社会主义等方面的教育。这就要求高中阶段的英语教学不仅要传授语言知识,培养学生运用英语进行交际的能力,而且还要着重挖掘教材中的思想因素,以语言为载体,在教学中渗透品德和爱国主义等方面的教育,从而培养学生良好的修养和高尚的情操。
The Syllabus for High School English clearly states that students should be educated in ideology, patriotism and socialism in their learning. This requires that senior high school English teaching not only teach language knowledge, develop students’ ability to use English to communicate, but also focus on exploring the ideological factors in textbooks, using language as a carrier, permeating morality and patriotism in teaching Education, so as to cultivate students good self-cultivation and noble sentiments.
