河北省水文水资源勘测局(河北省水环境监测中心、河北省水平衡测试中心)所属137个基层水文站及2900余处专业站点,分布在全省各主要河流、水库、枢纽涵闸上,承担着降水、地表水、地下水和水环境等水文水资源信息的采集、传递、评价和预测预报工作,每年收集约230万条水文水资源信息,为防汛抗旱、水资源管理、水环境保护提供重要的基础数据,为经济社会发展和政府决策提供服务。
