关于第二次世界大战起点的讨论,目前在我国史学界中有三种观点:即“三一说”、“三七说”和“三九说”.主张“三一说”的学者把1931年9月18日日本军国主义在我国东北发动“九·一八”事变视为“二战”起点.理由是“九·一八”事变打破了第一次世界大战后帝国主义之间的“和平”局面,开始了新的争夺世界霸权的战争;“中国战场成为开辟最早的一个反法西斯战场,是世界反法西斯的重要组成部分”;“它成为最早战争的策源地,是走向新的世界战争的起点”.
