江苏省农科院杂草研究中心主任、研究员、国际杂草学会终身会员、中国植保学会理事、中国杂草研究会理事、江苏省农学会常务理事、江苏省杂草研究会理事长、《杂草科学》主编江荣昌同志,因病医治无效,于1992年12月2日在南京逝世,终年56岁。江荣昌同志是我国著名的杂草研究专家,他为我国杂草科学事业和农业科学的发展忘我工作,奋力拼搏。他工作勤勤恳恳,夜以继日,不辞辛劳,他热情培养中青年同志,善于团结同行们一道协作攻关;积极促进我省“六农”(农科院、农林厅、农垦局、农资公司、农业院校、农药研究所)的密切合作。多年来他坚持农业科研为生产服务,为基层服务的宗旨,为我省及我国农田
