The numerical method is used to solve the three-dimensional unsteady heat conduction equation under complicated boundary conditions. The infrared imaging technology is used to simulate the corrosion of metal tube inner wall. Computer simulation is performed to determine the size of the defect and the minimum detectable defect For a detailed theoretical study.
