Littelfuse, a global leader in circuit protection, today announced that Littelfuse has expanded the availability of high-reliability transient-suppression (TVS) diodes with a customizable upgrade screening and sorting process. The components are specifically screened to protect DC circuits in avionics and other applications requiring high reliability, and to protect sensitive electronic equipment against lightning-induced voltage transients and other transient voltage phenomena. Littelfuse high-reliability TVS diodes are ideally suited for DC power and ESD protection for avionics such as FADECs, aircraft sensors, avionics, fly-by-wire systems, cockpit electronics and airport landing aids. Other uses include industrial applications such as the energy industry.
