《思想政治工作研究》杂志创刊于1983年。杂志的创刊,几乎与中国政研会同生同长。中国政研会的前身——中国职工政研会成立后的第一件事,就是创办杂志,建立一个传达中央精神、传递工作信息、发表研究成果、总结交流经验、反映政工呼声的宣传阵地。
