“人文”一词,最早出现于《易经》。《易经·贲卦》曰:“刚柔交错,天文也;文明以止,人文也。观乎天文以察时变,观乎人文以化成天下。”它标志着人类从蒙昧蛮荒的原始状态进化到了文明发展的新时代,标志着人类智慧的质的飞跃。应用文的出现,就是一种人文精神的体现。我们的祖先在创造了文字的同时,也孕育了应用文,从而使人类的交往与交流突破了时空的限制,进入了人类发展的新纪元。
