公文的语体色彩,是按公文的体式和撰写主旨,运用词语、句式和修辞等语言手段在表达方式上所形成的特有风格。这种风格,一是语言手段,即按一般语言运用规则在公文中所形成的各自的特殊性;二是各自的具体性,即以形成的特殊性归结出的共同性,其中包括准确性、简要性、庄重性、模式性等。在公文写作中,表现公文语体色彩上的常见病大致有以下几种:一、不准确公文运用语言的准确性,就是要用词确切,造句恰当,表义明确、周密。撰写公文运用语言必须从实际出发,选用恰当的词语和句式把内容恰如其分地表达出来。
