我曾讲过“对数的定义”这节概念课,对“深入浅出”进行过一点尝试,这里谈谈自已的作法。备课时我通读了教材和教学参考资料,在通读过程中,我想:“中国字这么多,为什么要用‘对数’二字呢?”带着这个问题,我查阅了有关资料,使我明确了“对数”一词源于希腊文“logos arithmcq”,直译即“关联数”,“衡量关系的数”。把它理解为“查对关系的数”也未尝不可!即指数运算中的“指数”起着衡量(或查对)“底数”和“幂”关系的作用。基于这种认识,考虑到学生的实际水平以及对数运算和代数运算中乘方与开方运算的密切关系,我决定从指数运算的特殊情况
