Objective: To investigate the characteristics of electroencephalogram (EEG) changes in patients with psychotic disorders and their manifestations of mental disorders, the types of clinical seizures and the types of cases. Methods: EEG data of 52 patients with psychotic disorders identified as psychotic disorders were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The abnormal rate of conventional EEG was 58%. A total of 22 cases of abnormalities, including 11 cases of mild, moderate in 9 cases, severe in 2 cases; focal abnormalities in 8 cases. Intellectual disorders, personality changes and abnormalities were high, with mostly widespread anomalies. Injury, robbery, arson, homicide and adultery were more frequent than other types of cases.
