我住大陆浙江省绍兴县湖塘街道西跨湖自然村,虽是个农民,却较早就知道台北有家三民书局。1992年底,我给台湾蔡氏家族主办的《思源》杂志写了一篇《丰子恺先生台湾行》的千字短文,此文同时在该年12月19日大陆《人民日报·海外版》的周末副刊上以头篇版面刊出。不久《思源》杂志社派员来绍兴致酬,并代表社方宴请我和内子,台湾客人在席间即向我们介绍了三民,说这是一家民营(三个小民所办)图书馆式的大书店,董事长刘振强先生是台湾出版界的领袖。当年三民的复北店可能尚未开张。后来我又了解到,
